What is the theme of this year’s AV Fair?

This year’s AV Fair theme is, “What A Ride!”

What are the hours of this year’s AV Fair?

The 2022 AV Fair is happening Friday, September 23rd through Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 (closed Monday & Tuesday).

Fri, 9/23: 4pm-12pm

Sat, 9/24 & Sun, 9/25: 12pm-12am

Mon, 9/26 & Tue, 9/27: Closed

Wed, 9/28-Fri, 9/30: 4pm-12pm

Sat, 10/1: 12pm-12am

Sun, 10/2: 12pm-11pm

Please note buildings close one hour before the AV Fair closes each night.

Are there special days at this year’s AV Fair?

Wed, 9/28 is Senior/Special Needs Day. Doors open early at 2pm with FREE admission exclusively for guests 62 and older in addition to guests with special needs.

Fri, 9/30 is Military Day sponsored by Budweiser. FREE admission for active military and their dependants as well as veterans. Thank you for your service!

Where can I purchase tickets?

General admission, parking, headliner concert, and arena event tickets are on sale online at https://bit.ly/3bTC0Nz. Please note admission is not included with the purchase of headliner concert and arena event tickets.

Unlimited carnival ride wristbands must be purchased separately and are available online at https://bit.ly/3wtZrog.

Do I have to purchase tickets to the AV Fair in advance?

Skip the line and buy online! Box office hours during this year’s AV Fair will be limited. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly encouraged!

How much do tickets cost for this year’s AV Fair?

Single-day admission: $9 pre-sale through 9/6, $15 after 9/6

Children (5 and under): FREE with paid adult

Juniors (6-11): $9

Seniors (62+)/Guests with special needs: $9 + FREE on Wed, 9/28 (gates open early at 2pm) 

Active military: FREE with valid ID

Standard vehicle general parking: $10

What events are happening in the Palmdale Auto Mall Grandstand Arena during this year’s AV Fair?

Sat, Sept 24: Chris Young, opening show: Kat & Alex

Wed, Sept 28: Monster Truck Nitro Tour

All events taking place in the Palmdale Auto Mall Grandstand Arena start at 7:30pm. Event tickets do not include admission to the fair. 

I purchased general admission parking to the AV Fair. Which parking lot do I go to? 

Standard vehicle general parking is located through Gate 1 in Lot D located off of Ave. H or through Gate 6 in Lot G-8 located off of 30th St. West. Click here for directions to the AV Fair. 

Where are ADA parking spaces located? 

ADA parking spots are located through Gate 1 in Lot C off of Ave. H. Click here for directions to the AV Fair. 

Where can I buy grandstand seats for concerts during the AV Fair? 

This year’s AV Fair Concert Series is presented by the City of Lancaster and the City of Palmdale. Grandstand seats for concerts are not available for purchase this year and are instead being distributed by Lancaster and Palmdale Auto Malls. Visit your local auto mall and test drive a car for grandstand 

Is admission included with my concert/arena event ticket? 

No, admission is not included with the purchase of headliner concert or arena event tickets. 

What free entertainment will there be at the AV Fair?

Do I need to get a wristband to drink alcohol during the AV Fair? 

Yes, to ensure a smooth experience at the bars for guests at the AV Fair, wristbands are required for alcohol purchases. Wristbands will be available for guests 21+ with valid ID at each bar location. 

Where can I find wheelchairs at the AV Fair?

 Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for a minimal daily charge with valid driver’s license or photo ID at the Main gate in front of the Van Dam Pavilion. Electric wheelchairs will not be available. Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs, both regular and electric are allowed. 

What items are prohibited to bring to the AV Fair?

The AV Fair & Event Center is a drug-free environment. Bringing in narcotics or any illegal substance is not allowed. Other prohibited items include outside food and beverages, outside alcoholic beverages, any article defined as a weapon, selfie sticks, and more.
