What to Expect
Every year, the City of Lancaster comes together to celebrate America’s Independence Day with a dazzling display of pyrotechnics that lights up our desert sky. This community event takes place on the evening of July 4th at the AV Fair & Event Center.
In addition to the fireworks, the day’s festivities will include:

Come early for the freestyle motocross show and dinner and stay for the fireworks! Celebrate the 4th of July while basking in the annual nighttime spectacular. Fireworks set to begin shortly after sunset.

2023 Fireworks Extravaganza – Independence Day is upon us and the City of Lancaster and the AV Fair & Event Center are excited to invite you to the 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Tuesday, July 4.
This event will bring live arena event entertainment, food vendors, and activities for the whole family to enjoy before closing the night off with one of the biggest pyrotechnic displays around.
Additional Information
Palmdale Auto Mall Grandstand Arena seating for both the 406FMX Freestyle Motocross Show and Fireworks Extravaganza requires a paid admission ticket.
Seating outside the Palmdale Auto Mall Grandstand Arena is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring a chair and/or blanket for free non-grandstand seating on the lawn.
Outside alcohol and pets are prohibited.
