Are there Metal Detectors at the Fair?
We have metal detectors and bag searches as you enter the Fairgrounds. Advise gate personnel if you have a pacemaker. All items deemed to be a weapon or unsafe will be confiscated
Where is parking for the disabled?
Parking for disabled/handicapped is in Lot A. Enter Gate 1 to get to Lot A.
Where is the RV park?
The RV Park is located at the North end of the Fairgrounds on W. Ave. G-8. Enter Gate 5. RV Parking is not available throughout the months of April and September due to the annual California Poppy Festival™ and AV Fair & Alfalfa Festival.
Is the A.V. Fair & Event Center in compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA)?
Where are the automated teller machines (ATMs) located?
ATMS are located in Carnival areas, at the Estrella Jalisco Cantina, and in both of the H.W. Hunter Pavilion and Van Dam Pavilion buildings. Any problems with Fair ATMS, call Fair Security. Cash Machines are mobility aid-accessible.
Where are the restrooms?
Restrooms are available in the blue portables located throughout the fairgrounds and in the H.W. Hunter & Van Dam Pavilions as well as the L.A. County Farm Bureau Community Hall and the Antelope Valley Harley Davidson Legacy Hall located near La Plaza. There are also restrooms located in the new AV Rural Museum.

Professional photographers MUST have a credential from the Fair Marketing Department, located in the Fair Administration Office (North end of the Turf Club building – 2551 W. Ave. H., Ste. 102, Lancaster, CA 93536). Same applies for serious amateur photographer using professional style equipment.
