Junior Livestock Auction Exhibitors are REQUIRED to complete the following;
- Large Livestock Exhibitor Packet (2 BBQ tickets, season parking and admit pass)
- Purchase DNA packet(s) for all Large Livestock Market Animals and all Back-Ups by species specific deadlines (refer to above departments for deadline dates)
- Have Valid Ethics Training (Good for up to five years from training date)
- Small Market Animal Exhibitors are REQUIRED to purchase 2 BBQ tickets NOT the Large Livestock Exhibitor Packet and MUST have Valid Ethics Training

Alfalfa is King 2013
A contest of the best Alfalfa Farmers of the Antelope Valley. Alfalfa Hay, Grain Hay (Barley Hay, Oat Hay, and Mixed Hay). East verses West!

Bees and Honey 2013
All Types of Bees, and their products- Honey (creamed, crystallized), Honey Comb, Chunked, and Extracting Frames.

FFA Nursery
As an integral part of their agriculture experience they must have grown exhibits for the FFA program. Nursery products, Horticulture Crafts, Floral Designs, and Landscape Designs.

FFA Mechanics
FFA projects include woodworking, sheet metal welding, forging, electrical, rope and Record books.

Floriculture
Plants, indoors and outdoors. Flowers Dried, Silk, and Fresh. Come and enter the wonderful world of floriculture!

Horticulture
All things grown (except Flowers),Vegetables, Fruits, Seeds, Nuts, Roots, Bulbs, Dried and Fresh. Including monstrosities and unusual shape vegetables!

Scarecrows
Big and Small ( see rules for limits). Mechanical, themed, Fun and Cute. (must be self-supporting).

Wheelbarrows, Mailboxes and Birdhouses, skies the limit on your imagination for outdoor décor and landscaping!

4H Home Arts
4-H age range from 5 years to 19 years old, it is a voluntary educational program under the supervision of the UC Cooperative Extension.

Antique Glass and China, Pressed, Cut, Hand blown, Ceramic, China, Pottery, Depression glass. Personal items, household items, Toys, Kitchen.

Baked Goods and Confections
All Cakes, Cookies, Candy, Breads. Holiday and Favorites, even Healthy Food! Get Baking!

Special Theme and Bling
Your challenge is to “Bling” set items, such as shoes, hats, sunglasses, etc. Use your imagination glitter, sequins, and rhinestones anything to out “Bling” the rest.

Canned and Preserved Foods
Jams, jellies, marmalades, canned and pickled (vegetables, fruits, relishes, salsas) dried herbs, jerky, vegetables, soups, and trail mixes.

Ceramics & Pottery 2013
Ceramics Kiln Fired, Bisque / Hydrocal (Figurines, Animals, under glaze), Pottery, or Clay (hand built or wheel thrown).

Clothing and Textiles
Any sewn item ranging from clothing to quilts and cross-stitch. Hand Spun Yarns, Rugs, Weaving, Novelties, Crocheted, Knitted, Embroidered, and Quilted items.

Collection Boxes
A displayed box filled with a themed collection of Dolls, Sports items, Personal Accessories, etc. Do as an individual, group, club, or family!

Dolls
Antique, Modern, Miniature, Porcelain, Cloth, Leather, Wood, Clay, or Felt. Also includes Teddy Bears!

Gem & Mineral
Collection or single items of all Gems and Minerals in Raw or Polished Forms, Faceted Stones, Cabochons, Geodes and / or Nodules, Mineral Specimens, Fossils, Petrified Wood, Jewelry and Beading.

Grange
Grange Juniors and Youth age ranges 5 years to 19 years old. Educating and supporting youth, and the public in the role of agriculture, good sportsmanship and ethical behavior.

This covers a large area; Photo pages / Albums, Tole Painting, Stained Glass and Glass Crafts, Leather Crafts, Carving, Pen and Ink, Models, Tree Decorating, Lego / K’Nex, School Projects, and much more!

Special Baking Contest
Bring your baked or prepared item during the scheduled Fair night and get your goodies judged in front of a live audience. Entry is your admission to Fair!

Wearable Art Fashion Show
A homemade wearable garment, anything goes; painted, glued on, you embellish to make your own piece of wearable art. Garment is modeled in the Fashion Show worn by anyone you wish!

Showcase your drawn, painted or sculptured artwork. Watercolor, Pastel, Graphite, Mixed Media even China Painting... Even youth can display their prized artwork!

Beef Fitting Contest
A 2 hour event to completely fit a beef heifer from start to finish! Jr. & Sr. Teams of 2 people per team.

Fun Obedience, Tricks, and Costume Shows; Also open to FFA & Grange.

Open Pygmy Goat Show
Open/Youth registered shows, NPGA Sanctioned shows. Also a Mini-exhibitor (5yrs.-9yrs.) costume contest, w/any small goat.
