Antelope Valley Fair Fetes Local Royalty Hosts 66th Miss AV Pageant
 

LANCASTER, CA – Eighteen extraordinary young women, each wearing a crown representing their respective communities, will vie for the title of Miss Antelope Valley 2010. The 66th Annual Pageant will be held at the Poppy Pavilion at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds on Saturday July 31, 2010. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.

Queens competing for the top title of Miss Antelope Valley are often seen participating in fundraisers for organizations like the Children’s Center’s Heartsounds gala, the Antelope Valley Domestic Violence Shelter and Kid’s Charities’ Thunder on the Lot. Additionally, the community queens regularly work various Chamber events, luncheons and special func-tions, lending their talent and generating community goodwill.

Current Miss Antelope Valley, Lindsey F. Williams, will pass the crown to the new Queen, who will reign over the 2010 Antelope Valley Fair (August 20 – 29, 2010). The pageant is a highly anticipated event, culminating in the coronation of a single Queen to represent the en-tire Antelope Valley.

Miss Antelope Acres Clarissa Butler, Miss Palmdale Brittany Troffer, Miss Mojave Lulu Rangel, Miss Antelope Valley Lindsey Williams, Miss Rancho Vista Katelin Bright, Miss Eastside Katie Kyle, Miss Hughes Elizabeth Lakes Sarah Fitzgerald, Miss Rosamond Sofia Rebollo, Miss Boron Kaylynn Clark, Miss Acton Stephanie Harness, Miss Lancaster Han-nah Fernquist.

Judges come from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses "Judges Committee".
