| LANCASTER, CA – As Fair time nears each year, anticipation grows as kids and adults, alike, reflect on last year’s memories and this year’s entertainment promises at the Antelope Valley Fair. The excitement quotient correlates directly to the number of days leading up to opening day. And with that day less than 3 months off, summer plans and summer discounts connect with calendars and pocketbooks. Expectations for “staycation-minded” residents are particularly high given the previous announcements that classic concert headliners will grace the Fairgrounds stage and exciting new rides will line the midway with the signing of premier carnival company, Ray Cammack Shows (RCS).
Tickets for all Antelope Valley Fair rides and concerts officially go “on sale” at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 13th. On-line concert and arena event orders can also be placed at 9:00 am through Ticketmaster www.avfair.com. Tickets purchased on Will Call can be picked up at the AV Fairgrounds Admin office, located at 2551 West Ave. H, Lancaster (North side of Turf Club), Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm (time subject to change). After August 3rd, all tickets must be purchased or picked up at the A. V. Fair Ticket Office (Main entrance between Poppy and Eliopulos buildings). Ticket office phone number is 661-948-6060, ext. 230.
Fairground officials noted that each year’s fair combines multiple vendors in staging an event that includes thrilling carnival rides, educational expositions and heart-pounding concerts. As a result, various ticket options are available to the public, depending on their interest in attending an individual concert, experiencing exciting carnival rides, viewing animal exhibitions, participating in craft competitions or all of the above.
